UP arms supplier arrested at Charkop

November 8: The main dealer supplying country-made weapons from Uttar Pradesh to various gang members in the city was arrested on November 2. ACP A B Pote received information that a person affiliated to the Chhota Rajan gang would be coming to the Charkop bus depot for a fire-arm transaction.

Policemen arrested Kulvinder Singh (24). He was carrying one factory-made .38 bore revolver with two live rounds, according to a police press note. He confessed that he and his associate had murdered another associate affiliated to the Chhota Rajan gang and concealed his body on a building terrace on August 22. A case of murder has been registered at the Mira Road police station. He also said that he and his associates tried to murder one Sumeet Shetty on July 22 at Khar and robbed his gold ornaments.
