A share trader in Rajkot ended his life on Wednesday, apparently unable to recover from the heavy losses suffered in the equity market which has nose-dived following reports of a global meltdown.Bharat Gondaliya, a 35-year-old resident of Pooja Park on Neelkanth Cinema Road, was found hanging from a fan in his home, Malaviyanagar police said. A suicide note has been found.“In his suicide note Gondaliya said losses in the share markets had forced him to take the extreme step,” said a police official, adding that the trader has written that his family should not be forced to repay the debt. In the note Gondaliya, addressed to the Commissioner of Police, he asked the top cop to take action against anyone who would try to recover the money from his family. The police team said it was yet to get details on the losses suffered by Gondaliya. Preliminary investigations revealed that Gondaliya and his brother Kalpesh were partners in a dye unit. Gondaliya had been married for nine years.
