The Dulina lynching may find its echo in Gujarat polls now. Lord Buddha Club and All India Confederation of SC/ST Organisations is planning a political party before the polls to mobilise Dalit support, said chairperson Udit Raj.

At a New Delhi press meet, Raj alleged VHP, Haryana government and Gurgaon administration are harassing Dalits who embraced other religions on October 27. He said Gurgaon District Commissioner Anurag Rastogi should not have issued statements on conversion. Rastogi said: ‘‘Conversion is an individual decision. The district administration has no role in it.’’
