Las Vegas, Oct 19: All Mike Tyson needs is a measly three votes.Three votes that will allow him to return to the sport he once dominated. Three votes that will make him rich again.

Three votes that no one is quite sure he has.

“I don’t know, but I’m hopeful,” Tyson adviser Shelly Finkel said. “I think our chances are better than they were before.”

Tyson again goes before Nevada boxing authorities today to try and convince a majority of the five-member state athletic commission that he has paid his price for biting Evander Holyfield’s ears and deserves a chance to fight again.

He comes armed with a psychological report that says he is mentally fit to pound on people to make a living. But he also comes with questions about a Maryland traffic altercation still hanging over his head — questions that he refused to answer in his first Nevada hearing a month ago; questions that will have to be answered if he is going to fight again.

Commissioner Luther Mack said, “Mike is going to have to explainwhat happened there and explain it in his own words.”
