The villages covered under the scheme are given basic civic amenities like roads, school building and potable water.Speaking on the occasion, Singh said Gokul Gram was not the final target of rural development and the authorities should continue to provide more amenities even after developing the village as Gokul Gram.MLAs Siddharth Patel and Chandubhai Dabhi were among those who attended the function organised by District Development Officer Anju Sharma and director of District Rural Development Agency B N Leuva. District Collector Anil Mukim and village sarpanchs also remained present.Singh suggested that villages which have very less facilities should be developed into Gokul Grams.
