SHIMOGAS, Feb 28: Two police sub-inspectors were killed on the spot when an unidentified vehicle hit the motorbike they were riding, near Kumsi ont he Shimoga-Sagar road. Kumsi SI Puttaiah (33) and Anavatti SI Chandrashekar (35) were returing from Shimoga after finishing their special security duty in view of the Shimoga bundh call given in protest against an attack on a newspaper office.
