LAHORE, July 18: Two police officers and a driver were killed in separate incidents in Pakistan’s central Punjab province today, police said.
Unknown assailants attacked the jeep of Ali Mohammad Baloch, senior Superintendent of Police, Faisalabad city, today when he was on his way to the office.
The attackers, riding a motorcycle, opened fire on his jeep, killing Baloch and his driver instantly, witnesses said.
Another police officer was shot dead in Vehari town in central Punjab province in the wee hours today, police said.
No one has claimed responsibility for the killing.
