CHENNAI, May 19: The Idol Wing of the State CB-CID division arrested R Krisnaswamy residing in Venkitachalapuram of Sathur taluk and seized two panchaloha idols worth Rs 10 lakhs from him on Saturday. The arrest was made when Krishnaswamy came to Tiruchi with the intentiob of selling the idols, according to police. Investigation revealed that the panchaloha idols were stolen from Sri Manika Vilas Math in Uchhinattham in Ramanathapuram district on January 6.
