MUMBAI, March 9: Two persons were injured in two separate incidents in the city in the last 24 hours. The first incident took place around 9.15 pm on Sunday at Kailash Tower, Ghatkopar (east).According to police, 41-year-old Chetan Shivji Shah, owner of Kajal Milk Dairy, was at the counter with his brother Laherchand when four unidentified persons entered and demanded cash. According to police reports, while one of the dacoits wielded a revolver, the other three were armed with choppers. When Shah refused, the assailant fired one round at him injuring his right arm.The other members of the gang attacked Shah's brother Laherchand with a chopper before making good their escape under the cover of darkness.The Shah brothers were rushed to Rajawadi Hopsital where doctors attending to them stated they were out of danger.In another incident at Borivali this afternoon, a police bodyguard pinned down a gangster when he whipped a revolver to fire at a rickshaw driver.The incident occurred around 12.30 pm ata rickshaw stand near Ambaji Mandir, Borivali (west). Samir Zainuddin Kadri (23) got into an argument with a rickshaw driver when Devkumar Raibhadur Singh intervened and tried to pacify the two.
