Two persons were injured when BSF personnel fired at a crowd which attacked them to protest the alleged attempt by a jawan to molest a woman in West Bengal’s Murshidabad district, police said.

SP Sanjay Singh said a BSF jawan tried to molest a woman at Kandi Chawk. After she raised an alarm, the villagers gathered and asked the jawan to apologise. He refused and the crowd attacked the BSF jawans and damaged their vehicles, Singh said.
