Dhaka, Oct 26: Indian captain Mohammad Azharuddin exuded confidence of winning the Wills ICC Mini-World Cup cricket tournament here. ``For that, we would have to bowl, bat and field well,'' he felt. India open their campaign with a tough outing against Australia on October 28.Azharuddin had admitted after last month's Sahara Cup loss to Pakistan in Toronto that the team had failed to do that. And, how does he expect the transformation to take place so quickly, more so when the intervening period has also seen a Test defeat to Zimababwe?``The defeats pinched, but I am sure we would not repeat those mistakes. So much cricket is being played now, a loss or two should not bother you. I am confident of getting the act together here.''``Being a knock-out tournament, we have to put our best foot forward. Australia would be very difficult to beat. Every game is like a final because all the sides are tough to beat these days and we cannot afford to be complacent. We are actually looking for a collectiveeffort,'' he added.``Our main strength would be batting as the wicket has seen high totals on it. We also have the advantage of having played here in January. Though the wicket was a bit different then, slower and assisting movement. Three matches would have been played before our game against Australia, and we would have had a fair inkling of its behaviour now. That would be very useful,'' the skipper said. When asked whether Dhaka, being a lucky venue, had something to do with his confidence, Azharuddin said, ``You have to play well to be lucky. That's how you win big tournaments.''The October 28 game will be Azharuddin's 300th One-day match, the first player to achieve the feat. Also, he requires 95 runs to get past West Indian Desmond Haynes' world record of 8648 runs in One-dayers. ``I am very happy for the 300th match. I am grateful to my late grandfather, my parents and my wife as also my well-wishers who always supported me. Inshallah, I would try to break Haynes' record in that matchbut my main focus would be on winning the match,'' he said.Regarding the team combination, Azhar said he was undecided and would decide on it on the match eve after having a look at the wicket. Coach Anshuman Gaekwad informed that no special preparations for the tie-breaker has been made and the emphasis was on the basics. ``Our bowlers have been bowling their normal self in the nets. Even in a match you aim to knock down the stumps, don't you?'' he said.
