
CHANDIGARH, Dec 6: The office-bearers of Dr Ambedkar Welfare Council today paid tributes to B R Ambedkar on his 42nd death anniversary. Speaking on the occasion, Amar Nath and Phool Chand, president and convenor of the council, stressed upon the need to eradicate illiteracy to realise the dream of Dr Ambedkar.
The city unit of Bahujan Samaj Party also organised a function to pay homage to the great leader. BSP secretary Ajit Singh Bains appraised the Ambedkar’s work and emphasized the need to implement his ideas in today’s world.
