According to a complaint filed at the Peth police station by one Kushan Tulshiram Bosare (31), a converted Christian who refused to participate in the traditional tribal festival, `Mavlya Bahulya’, a mob of over 100 tribals damaged the structure with axes, spades and sickles. The mob also attacked the converted tribals, injuring some of them. The police have registered an offence against Gopal Mahadu Jadhav who led the assault. The damage to the structure is estimated at Rs 3,200.
