Tibetans continue to be arrested arbitrarily by Chinese authorities and subjected to harassment, Gyari said in a statement on Tuesday.

She criticised the arrest of reputed Lama Phurbu Tsering and 100 of his supporters in May.

“The purpose of meetings between political leaders and the delegation which took place in Delhi between May 12 and 25 was to express our gratitude to Indian leaders and people for their kind support to Tibetan cause,” Gyari said.
