JAMMU, JULY 29: Three Pakistani soldiers were killed and two of their bunkers damaged in exchange of shelling between Indian and Pakistani troops along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and Rajouri since last night, official sources said here today.

Elsewhere, one Pakistani intruder was arrested and a woman injured in Pakistani firing along the International Border in Samba and R S Pura sub-sectors yesterday.

The sources said Pakistani troops resorted to firing and shelling of mortars and rockets in Mendhar Laam, Kerni, Krishna Gati, Bhimber Gali, Noushera, Sunderbani, Pargwal and Balakote areas since last night.

However, no loss of life was reported as most of shells and rockets exploded in vacant areas, sources said, adding that two vacant houses were partially damaged.

In retialatory shelling on specific targets, troops damaged two Pakistani bunkers and killed their three soldiers in Krishna Gati and Mendhar areas of Poonch, sources said.

Security forces nabbed a Pakistani intruder near a forward post in Samba sub-sector along the International Border last night.

One woman was injured by a bullet in Jamna Bella area of R S Pura.
