I am 50 and have been on a medicine to control my blood pressure levels for the last six months, after a doctor examined me and found my BP shooting up. However, over the last few days, I found that at times, I start sweating and my heart rate starts going up. Is this problem related with BP or a signal for some other major disease?Poonam KharbandaDr NP Singh, Professor of Medicine, Maulana Azad Medical College, says: I f it persists, high blood pressure can cause heart problems and hence it should be kept under check.
