And their names, according to the magazine, are Pamela Anderson, Kid Rock and Macy Gray, among others.‘‘A dazzling dress is only the beginning,’’ People admonishes on a page filled with gorgeous women. ‘‘Fabulous hair, flawless make-up, gleaming jewels and the perfect shoes (and bag) are required to ace the evening competition.’’In addition to Roberts and Berry, People anointed 18 ‘‘Belles of the Ball’’ who scaled that fashion peak in 2002. They include British-born Kate Beckinsale and Moulin Rouge star Nicole Kidman. People also applauded TV stars Debra Messing, from Will & Grace; Calista Flockhart and Keri Russell from Felicity.The magazine’s ‘‘Worst Dressed’’ section is announced with a picture of former Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson, clad in a black, two-piece number composed largely of strings, standing beside boyfriend Kid Rock, clutching his crotch in blue jeans and a T-shirt. ‘‘Winter is fast approaching and these stars have nothing to wear,’’ People said. ‘‘Somebody please help!
