DEC 21: Opening batsman Swapnoj Thakur's 144 off 227 balls including 24 fours and his 151 runs opening stand with Sahil Kukreja (72 off 127 balls with 14 fours) helped Mumbai make 304-4 off 91 overs on the opening day in their first innings of the Vijay Merchant Trophy (under-16) cricket match against Baroda here on Thursday.Baroda won the toss and put Mumbai in to bat first. With fine contributions from the two openers and a stylish 45 off 110 balls from left hander Rohan Saldhana and a quick 29 off 30 balls from Sankit Bhaye.
