PARBHANI, Feb 16: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray on Sunday said he had in possession some very vital evidence in the Bofors gun deal and he would be passing them on to Atal Behari Vajpayee on February 25.

Addressing a press conference here, Thackeray said he was convinced that an underhand dealing worth over Rs 65 crore had taken place when the deal was struck, but refused to elaborate more.

The Sena chief also disclosed that a `pro Sharad Pawar-minded’ lobby in the State bureaucracy has not been co-operating with the Sena-BJP cabinet, and he would soon turn his attention to mend ways of these officials. Thackeray said he would have no objection at all if Priyanka Vadra was made the Prime Minister. “Priyanka has our (Indian) blood flowing in her,” Thackeray said.
