MARCH 17: The joint action committee for protection of tenants rights has resolved to further intensify the ongoing agitation till the final goal of ownership to all tenants is achieved.A delegation of the action committee met the Chief Minister, Manohar Joshi, after the rally at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai. The talks with the Chief Minister failed to resolve their demands. The traders and hoteliers had shut down their business yesterday to express solidarity with the tenants issue.The panel leaders have asked for a change in the state government's review petition in SC.
