CHANDIGARH, June 3: The Telecom Department Daily Wager Workers Union held a dharna in front of the office of the Telecom General Manager, here today.
They were demanding that all the daily wagers who were sacked be taken back by the department. Their other demands included fixation of minimum bonus, ESI facilities, salaries on time and holidays as regular employees, according to the general secretary of the union.
