Amongst other video magazines Lehren, the video magazine that airs on Sony also covered the party. The pop album is not only called Amaanat but the video also features actors from the serial by the same name on Zee. But otherwise it's in no way connected to the serial. But if the buzz is to be believed, the Sony authorities got the Lehren team to erase the clipping of Amaanat from the episode because they thought this would help the serial.Now listen to itAfter having created waves with Om Namah Shivay (DD1), now Dheeraj Kumar has come up with a novel idea - which has never been heard of or done before. Dheeraj Kumar and wife Zuby Kochar in association with their main sponsor Hindustan Lever will now broadcast Om Namah Shivay on All India Radio. The radio version of 15 minutes will be aired thrice in a week across the country in the morning and afternoon from 15th. February.Cast offNow that Mahayagya is wrapping up after 104 episodes, following the channel's abrupt decision to remove it, the rumour making the rounds is that the sudden decision is due to a personal clash and not because of any drop in TRPs or viewership. If insiders are to be believed it seems the channel authorities had asked Chaudhary to cast Ashutosh Rana for a particular role. But due to the non-availability of dates Chaudhary settled for Aditya Srivastav which annoyed channel authorities and the programme faced the axe.Farouque & NavneetPhilips Top Ten, now Colgate Top Ten in one of the most popular shows and the only countdown show on Zee. But everyone involved with the show be it Satish Kaushik, Sahab Shami, Mukul Anand or Ajit Pal (who even managed to rope in big screen villain Shakti Kapoor for the first-time on television) has been criticised for their work. And now Pal finishes his term of 26 episodes and passes on the buck to Himesh Reshmmiya (the man behind Andaz, Amar Prem and Dam Dama Dam). It stars Farouque Shaikh and Navneet Nishan playing husband-wife and in being written by Salim who has penned all Reshmmiya's projects. It is being directed by Reshmmiya's all time favourite - you guessed it right - Arun Frank. Who else? The new episodes will be aired from the first week of March.
