Santosh Sapkal finished runners-up with seven points.Meanwhile, Panagha added another feather in her cap, winning her sixth State-level title. She aggregated 5.5 points, while Shradha Sagani of Kolhapur finished second.Esha got the better of her citymate Krutika Nadig in the sixth and final round to win the girls under-12 category crown with a total of 5.5 points. Nagpur's Hemlata Jaswani fells short of the leader by half a point.The only crown that eluded the Pune players was the boys under-12 section, wherein, Gurpritsingh Bharas of Nagpur defeated Rohan Parwarwar of Sangli to clinch the title. Mumbai's Amar Kamat stood second.The meet also formed basis for the selection trials of the State team in the boys and girls under-12 and 14 sections.The first two players in each section represent Maharashtra in the National Championship to be held in May.HERO HONDA MASTERSThe concluding event of the city tennis circuit for juniors - Hero Honda Masters Tennis will commence at the PYC Hindu Gymkhana courts from February 21.
