Sound and heat insulation:A very specialised method has been developed by a Swiss organisation for applying technology related to the industrial insulation field. It concerns the fabrication of parts, in a variety of shapes, from aluminium, copper or stainless steel sheets. The development is aimed at applications such as lagging heating pipes, steam pipes, etc., anticondensation insulation for cold water pipes, free cooling etc.Areas of application: Industrial acoustic and heat insulation - heating systems, superheated water, steam piping, ice-cold water piping, free cooling, rainwater, sanitary installations, etc. Advantages: Superior technical characteristics such as high dimensional accuracy, and an unlimited range of diameters for various applications. The method ensures a combination of speed and quality.Stage of development: Patent applied for. Commercialised - a fully developed line of equipment, already in industrial use. Transfer forms: Partnership of all kinds for commerciallyexploiting the technology and marketing the know-how. Target countries: Asia.Animal feed by using software for optimum feed formulation:A Korean company is offering technology for preparation of animal feed (chicken, pig, dairy cattle, fish, pet animal). A wide variety of mixed feeds, each designed to obtain optimum results for specific types of livestock at specific items of their growth cycle can be manufactured. Over 200 varieties of feeds for all kinds of uses are produced by this technology. The products are available in flake, pellet and crumble forms. The process is divided into following phases: Raw material storage; cleaning; weighting; grinding; mixing; pelletizing; flaking, E.P.; packing (bulk, bag). Main equipment: Grinder, mixer, pellet mill, flaker, extruder, bagging machine.
