NEW DELHI, July 22: Three brilliant goals in the second half saw Tarun Sangha humble South India 3-0 in a DSA-SAIL Senior Division League match.

Tarun Sangha’s Rana Sapui took the initiative in the 40th minute to lift the sagging morale of the side, which despite a good performance failed to score in the first half. Capitalising on a defensive lapse, Rana rushed from the centre and aimed a full-blooded shot which South India defender Alexander tried to stop. But he failed in his effort and the ball went in. In the 46th minute SK Nilu consolidated the lead while Rana scored once again in the 55th minute.

Meanwhile, South India Club have lodged a protest against Tarun Sangha over fielding ineligible players against them. The league sub-committee has asked both clubs to furnish necessary documentary evidence in support of their claims with 48 hours.
