Left-arm seamer Sohail Tanvir's behaviour is under the scanner after captain Shoaib Malik complained to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about his refusal to adhere to team discipline.Tanvir's behaviour was discussed in a recent meeting of the PCB held in Lahore in which coach Geoff Lawson and manager Talat Ali also complained about his antics."The team management had made verbal complaints about Tanvir keeping late nights and not adhering to team discipline and curfew hours and the issue was taken up at the meeting chaired by the Board chairman Nasim Ashraf," according to an eye witness account of the proceedings in Lahore."Manager Talat Ali was pulled up by some members of the governing body namely Ejaz Butt and Munir Hafeez and even chief operating officer, Shafqat Naghmi for not formally reporting Tanvir's disciplinary problems," the source added.He said a board member told Ali to stop being friendly with the players and enforce all management rules properly. "Talat was pretty upset at being questioned because coach Geoff Lawson and captain, Shoaib Malik also complained about Tanvir," the source said.Pakistan has faced numerous disciplinary issues with pace duo of Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif and the latter still stands suspended for testing positive in a dope test during the inaugural Indian Premier League.Shoaib last year served a 13-match ban and is still fighting a case in the Lahore High Court to get an 18-month ban and fine of Rs seven million overturned.
