FEBRAURY 3: CHENNAI: Reigning National superleague champions Tamil Nadu defeated Andhra Pradesh in the Group I National Volleyball League at Surat. On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu won 25-12, 28-30, 25-12, 25-17.

In another match, Abubacker played stellar role as setter in the Indian Railways victory over Uttar Pradesh 25-23, 14-25, 25-14, 25-20. Rajesh Tiwari and Sudhakar led the rail attack with powerful smashes.
