The Punjab Vigilance Bureau today claimed that former state PWD minister Sucha Singh Langah has confessed to have allotted, for Rs 43 crore, the Morinda by-pass contract to a company in ‘‘which the brother-in-law of Sukhbir Singh Badal is also a shareholder’’.

The VB has claimed that Langah has implicated former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s son, Rajya Sabha MP, Sukhbir Singh Badal.

Sukhbir has denied the charge. He said: ‘‘The details of all the companies are with the Registrar at Jalandhar.”

Parkash Singh Badal said he will quit politics if these allegations were found to be true.
