UJJAIN, MARCH 14: A Standard XII student allegedly stabbed to death the principal of the Gujarati Samaj Higher Secondary School here for asking him to get out of class after being caught copying during the annual board examinations Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The principal, Ravindra Chandra Shukla (52), had caught Sanjay copying in the final Hindi paper.
Sanjay went out of the examination hall, and met the principal after the examination was over. He allegedly assaulted Shukla in the stomach with a knife and tried to escape from the scene but was caught by the crowd, police said.
The principal succumbed to injuries at the hospital while the youth has been arrested on charges of murder, police added.
