CHENNAI, August 3: Most of the traders at the Koyembedu wholesale market for perishables stayed away from work today, protesting against the operation of wholesale markets at various places in the City. Vegetable, fruit and flower vendors who operate from the newly-set up market went on a day-long fast, demanding implementation of the TN Specified Commodities Markets (Regulation of location) Act.
