MUMBAI, MARCH 10: The Democratic Front Government will present its first budget on March 22. Addressing reporters on Friday, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said his government will present 13 new legislations during the five-week budget session commencing from March 13.The Chief Minister said it has been proposed to make drastic changes in the Cooperative Societies Act to make it more stringent and result oriented. Besides, a new Bill prohibiting use of fake caste certificates and providing punishment for misuse of caste certificates will also be introduced.
