November 6: The Raj Kapoor Memorial night cricket tournament organised by Youth Sports Club gets under way tomorrow at the Subhash Maidan, Chembur.The seventh edition of the event has drawn 16 teams from all over the country and will present many of the practices prevalent at one-day internationals, including coloured clothing and third umpires. SITI Cable will telecast matches `live' all over Mumbai.As much as Rs one lakh await the winners along with the handsome RK Trophy. Rs 50,000 will go the runners-up and lucrative individual cash prizes will reward the Man-of-the-Series (Rs 40,000), Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Best Fielder of the tournament. Players voted Man-of-the-Match will receive a washing machine or a refrigerator.Kingfisher, a music group, will lend a festive touch to the three-day event.
