Mumbai, November 27: St Anne’s High School (Orlem) scored a 5-goal win over St Andrew’s in the Inter-school rink hockey tournament at St Andrew’s, Bandra late last night.

Marshal Nazareth with four, Rohit Charles (3), Glen D’Souza (1) took the Ann’s total to eight while Andrew’s could manage only three goals through Lester Almeida (2) and Joshua Lacronix.

Mumbai Customs defeated M S Police 4-3 in a tie-breaker in the Bombay Provincial hockey championships at Mahindra Stadium today.

The two teams were locked 2-2 at full time. In the tie-breaker, Richard D’Mello, Erol D’Silva and Adolf Colaco scored for Customs while Azmat Sheikh and Mohammad Salim found the target for MSP.

Earlier, Suresh Pereira put Customs ahead in the 27th minute while Raju Aspat equalised for MSP three minutes later.

In the other semifianl, Tata outclassed Mumbai Port Trust 3-0 with Amjad Khan (12th minute), Claes Fereira (22nd) and Enrico Fernandes (29th and 53rd) doing the scoring.
