CHENNAI, May 20: The Sri Ramachandra Medical College (SRMC) is to undertake a mega "Target 1000" programme to restore sight to the cataract-afflicted. The programme envisages conducting about 160 free surgeries each day for six days. A special desk has been created for registering patients, and the programme is scheduled to start from May 26.
