CHANDIGARH, Aug 2: The Patiala Badminton Association will host the Senior State Badminton Championship at Patiala from September 16 to 18, according to Rajinder Singh Kalsi, secretary of the Punjab Badminton Association.

Kalsi said that the Mini State Badminton Championships for under-10, under-13 and under-16 would be conducted by the Amritsar Badminton Association at Amristar from August 17 to 21.

The Junior State Championship has been allotted to Sangrur from August 29 to 31.

Three state major ranking competitions would also be conducted. The first State Major Ranking Badminton Tournament will be organised at Fatehgarh Sahib from from October 14 to 16. The second State Major Ranking Badminton Tournament will be held at Ludhiana from November 4 to 6 while the third State Major Ranking tournament is scheduled at Ropar from December 4 to 6.
