February 16: The first-ever holistic spine centre in the nation will soon be opened in the city at Sushrut Medical Care and Research Society's Dr Hardikar Hospital, claimed Dr. Sharad Hardikar while addressing a press conference here recently``There are various types of spine-related disorders which, besides requiring treatment from orthopaedic surgeons, also require treatment from neurosurgeons, neuro experts, spine surgeons, physiotherapists, dietitians and Yoga experts. We are confident that all these needs would be met at our centre,'' said Dr. Hardikar who is a senior orthopaedic surgeon. The centre will be inaugurated at the hands of Dr. K V Choubal on March 8, he added.
