The Telugu Desam party on Wednesday vowed to fight against persons of foreign origin occupying high elected posts in the country. ‘‘Nationality of persons holding high positions should be an important issue,’’ the TDP manifesto said. Party chief Chandrababu Naidu said the party would certainly make Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s choice for the post of prime minister a poll issue. ‘‘Our stand is clear,’’ Naidu said.
