Determined to keep the Telengana Rashtra Samithi with the UPA, Congress president Sonia Gandhi here today offered to address the party’s concerns in the wake of the crisis triggered by resignations of five Andhra ministers from the state ministry.
Soon after TRS chief and Union Labour Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao met Sonia at her residence this evening, Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, in charge of Andhra, told media that Rao would give him ‘‘certain points (on Telengana’s development) by tomorrow evening. I will forward them to the Andhra Government.’’ Thereafter, he said, ‘‘we will sit with Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, Rao and the state Chief Secretary between July 14 and July 21 and discuss those points.’’
