NEW DELHI, December 3: Colleges affected by the Delhi University teachers' strike will have no winter break this month. University authorities have announced that all colleges where the academic session was disrupted and where no extra classes were taken to make up for the loss, will be open throughout winter. Teaching will be as per the existing time-table.This arrangement is expected to provide an additional 10 teaching days in colleges open for five days a week and 12 extra days in colleges open for six days. Colleges which have compensated for the loss of teaching days during the strike period will follow the normal winter break schedule.
