Yohann Pereira scored a hat-trick as St. Stanislaus, Bandra routed Utpal Sanghvi 5-0. Kyle Mascarenhas and Rellin Vaz completed the tally in the under-14 (III-C) match. Jayesh Swami netted the lone goal for Our Lady of Health, Sahar in their 1-0 win over jamnabai Narsee in the under-14 (III-E) tie.

CHEMBUR English got past Village Amboli easily with a convincing 2-0 win in a Harwood League match at the St Xavier’s ground, Parel today.

After a barren first-half, Chembur took lead in the 43th minute when Sanjay Chougule took a powerful shot from the top od the box. Hisa powerful strike beat Pramod Bird, Amboli goalkepper. Chougule was instrumental in the second goal also as he put Marshall John in the box. The latter dribbled past a defender and bulged the net in the 69th minute.

Prasad Shembekar and Milind Kulkarni won the men’s doublestitle beating Sanjay Mande and Raghunandan Bhide 2-25, 25-4, 25-0.
