Colour scape
The Ray Art Gallery has organized an exhibition of watercolour paintings titled Ripples by artist Sachin Naik. Naik8217;s watercolour landscape was recently selected from amongst hundreds of other entries to features on the cover of the Richeson 75, USA an international book on landscapes and two of his paintings were also included in the exhibition at Richeson Art Gallery, USA and are now a part of the collection. The exhibition is on till November 24 at Ray Art Gallery, Shivajinagar.
Rocking on
The Music lovers in the city got to their feet with the bouncing spirit of rock music during the live performance by the band, Blood and Iron, that took them to the trance of rock on Thursday. The rapture that was gripped by this six-member band was remarkable and electrifying. While they played the peppy numbers they won many accolades for their scintillating concert at the Soho8217;s restaurant in Koregaon Park. In the city for the rock concert this Bangalore-based band was formed around three years back. The group became popular amongst their fans not only for their combination of varying degrees of heavy metal influences but also the indigenous styles of each of its members. The night was indeed rocking and the show was an enthusiastic treat for the audience.
