7th Vahini of the Border Security Force recovered six packets of heroin from Dona Tellu Mall border outpost. These packets were found near the bed of Sutlej River. Deputy Commandant if 7nth Vahini GL Meena said, “Due to the present environment in the country and also because of dense fog, we had stepped up vigil.”
The recovery was made by a team led by Inspector R D Mehta. The official said five of the six bags were labelled as 555-2009, while the sixth one carried a label that read ‘Uncle Brother Foundation Tribal Area’. A plastic bag that carried a stamp of Sialkot Cantonment was also found next to the contraband.
