BJP asked the Congress to show restraint in making comments on the Gujjar agitation or else come clear on their stand on the issue."We would urge Congress to show restraint and not to make political statements in this volatile situation arising out of the sensitive Gujjar agitation," party spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said in a press conference in New Delhi on Tuesday.Either the Congress should stop making comments or should come out and make its own stand clear on the situation, he added."The government in Rajasthan is making all efforts to find a solution through talks and it is unfortunate that some parties are trying to gain political mileage out of the situation," he said. All of us are witness to the bloody confrontation between two castes last time during the Gujjar agitation and should not comment anything that makes things worse at the ground-level, Javadekar said.Meanwhile, the party is sending Javadekar to Jaipur to monitor the situation and apprise the party leadership of the developments there."Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is in touch with the party top-brass, I would be in Jaipur to help the party unit," he said. The National Executive of the party originally planned in Jaipur this month-end has already been shifted to Delhi in view of the Gujjar agitation.
