Pakistan off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq is third with 44 points.

Cricket awards ceremony today

* Last year’s (1996-97) winners Venkatesh Prasad and the Pakistan cricket team will be awarded the Ceat International Cricketer of the Year and Ceat International Cricket Team of the Year award respectively at a function at the Cricket Club of India here on Monday.

The Ceat team award would be received by Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram, who has specially flown down to India.
