Tarun Mandal CC clinch title
Tarun Mandal beat India Cricket Club by two wickets to lift the Kadbe Ali Talim Tarun Mandal limited overs cricket which concluded here on Sunday.
Shekhar Gaikwad, from the winner’s team, top scored in the match with 30 runs, with teammate Pankaj Yadav following at 21.
For the runners-up, Prashant Kadekar was the highest run-getter at 26, while Rupesh Jadhav followed close behind at 25.
Brief scores: India cricket club: 80 all out in 10 overs (Rupesh Jadhav 25, Prashant Kadekar 26) lost to Natraj Tarun Mandal: 81 for 8 in seven overs (Shekhar Gaikwad 30, Pankaj Yadav 21).
Football camp from May 2
The Ordnance Depot Talegaon Golden Jubilee Sports Committee will be conducting a free coaching camp for children between the ages of 6 to 16 years at the Late Shri Motilal Mathurwalla Sports Ground, Wanowari camp, from May 2 to 30.
Registration forms are available with Vinod Mathurwalla at the Mathurwalla grocery shop or the Mogre milk shop at the Wanowri Bazaar. The last date for submitting the forms is April 28.
