Delhi squad finishes second
Manipur won the team championship in the ninth National Washu tournament at Lucknow. Delhi team got the second place in Sanshou winning eight medals. Jitender of Delhi won the first gold.

Neelam of Uttar Pradesh won the title of Grand Championship. Twenty-nine teams participated in this championship.

Taekwon-do championship
Delhi Taekwon-do Association, affiliated to the Taekwon-do Federation of India and Delhi Olympic Association, will organise the XVI Delhi Taekowon-do championship on July 28 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The championship will be played on the knockout basis. About 30 units are expected to participate in this meet. Faquir memorial Open TT
Sri Aurobindo Education Society will conduct the seventh Shri Surendra Nath Jauhar `Faquir’ memorial open table tennis (junior) tournament from August 6 to 10 at Mother’s International School, Sri Aurobindo Marg.
