India get the much needed morale boosterTuesday's win against Nottinghamshire was just the shot in the arm the Indian team was looking for ahead of their key game against South Africa on Saturday. It was not so much the victory, but the manner in which top guns, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Javagal Srinath fared that left the team preening in satisfaction. Importantly, the palpable tension that was second nature to the team from the time it left Indian shores, seems to have disappeared. The players and the management are more relaxed, as indeed they should be this close to the big event.
