KC Mahindra Cricket tourney
The KC Mahindra Invitation Cricket tournament will be held from January 27 onwards at the various grounds in Mumbai. The eight teams participating in the tournament are Tatas, Central Railway, Elf Oil SC, Air-India, Western Railway, SunGrace, Orient Shipping and Mahindras.
Inter-Schools swimming meet
The MSSA-Colgate Annual Inter-Schools Aquatics Championships, sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive will be held at PM Hindu Swimming Bath, Netaji Subash Road, Chowpatty on January 22 and 23. Nearly 350 competitors from 66 schools will be taking part in the two-day championships.
