The Fatima School, Vidyavihar will be conducting its 3rd invitational Basketball tournament at the at its courts from May 15. Eight teams, including one from the city, will be participating. The teams are Our Lady of Fatima, Saraswati Kanya Sangh Nagpur, Satara Gymkhana, Honey Bees Club Pune, Agredneya VS Thane, SB Club Nagpur, Ajinkya Gymkhana Satara and Deccan Gymkhana Pune.
The eight teams will be divided into two pools. The winner of the tournament stands to gain Rs 5,000 and the runners-up Rs 3,000.

The sixth Savio Invitational basketball tournament for men will be held at the Don Bosco court from May 21 to 27. The matches will be played under floodlights at their court.
Attractive prizes will be awarded during the tournament in addition to prize-money to the winner and runners-up.
Top eight teams of the State from Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune are expected to take part. The teams comprise international,current and past national players who will be seen in action. Last year8217;s winners BEG Pune and runners-up Shivaji Nagar have confirmed their participation.
EVCA under-14 tournament
The Elf Vengsarkar Cricket Academy-conducted Under-14 35 overs Cricket tournament will be held from May 17-24 at the Oval Maidan. Boys from 25 nets in Mumbai have been invited to participate and the teams have been named on prominent cricketers from the city 8212; Polly Umrigar, Bapu Nadkarni, Ajit Wadekar, Dilip Sardesai, Ramakant Desai and Padmakar Shivalkar.
District ranking Table Tennis
The Mumbai Surburban District Table Tennis Association is conducting an Open District Ranking table tennis tournament in collaboration with Rashtriya Chemicals amp; Fertilizers at the RCF Jet Hostel from May 27 to 31. Entries, which close on May 24, will be accepted at the RCF Sports Club, opposite Golf Club, Chembur.
