CHANDIGARH, JUNE 24: The mortal remains of Shiv Dass, Chief Sub Editor of The Tribune were consigned to flames at the Sector 25 cremation grounds, here today.
Shiv Dass had died in New Delhi on Tuesday, where he had gone for heart treatment. He was due to retire this month end. A number of distinguished persons attended his funeral. The Chandigarh Press Club, Sector 27, also remained closed as a mark of respect.
